French drains can really tackle wet yards by channeling water away, though they take some effort to install. For a newbie, it’s doable with patience. I saw some straightforward guidance here https://leaquida.ca/vaughan/french-drain/ that breaks it down. Gravel and pipe placement seem key. Anyone tried DIY-ing this?
